September 7, 2025, marked a meaningful milestone for Davis Auto Group in Claresholm. Twenty years of serving a community that has supported us every step of the way.

Back on September 7, 2005, Davis Auto Group purchased Beauchamp Chevrolet and began a new chapter as Westwind Chevrolet. As the dealership evolved and aligned with the broader group, it was rebranded to Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick Claresholm Ltd., reflecting a shared identity with our sister stores.

Anniversaries are not just about time. They are about people.

Two team members from that original transition are still part of the story today. Justin Fraser, our Shop Foreman, and Darrell Norby, who recently retired, have both been part of this journey from the very beginning. That kind of commitment says a lot about the culture here and the relationships built over the years.

A lot can change in two decades, and the automotive world is a perfect example.

When this journey started, technicians like Justin were still working on carburetors from time to time. Today, the landscape looks completely different, with advanced diagnostics, hybrid systems, and fully electric vehicles becoming part of everyday life.

We have seen brands like Pontiac and Oldsmobile fade away, while others like Hummer have returned in an entirely new form as electric vehicles. Through all of it, one thing has remained constant, the need to adapt while continuing to serve customers the right way.

The growth of the dealership is closely tied to the growth of the community itself.

Over the past 20 years, Claresholm, Nanton, and the surrounding areas have evolved, and we have been proud to grow alongside them. This is more than a place of business. It is where we live, work, and raise our families.

That connection shapes everything we do.
